Our Story
The mission of Becoming Beyond Consulting LLC is to create space for discernment within aspiring students at all levels of education.
Our philosophy is that:
Everyone has a unique story – our goal is to inspire prospective students to tell theirs effectively
Authenticity in academic and professional spaces is in jeopardy – our goal is to change that
Individuals are the creators of their own journeys – our goal is to guide, not direct
To meet these goals, we offer full-service undergraduate and graduate admissions coaching for prospective students of all ages.
Our Founder
Rachel Wallace (she/her) is a strategy consultant and high education coach currently based in her hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Rachel holds bachelors degrees in Philosophy and Environmental Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and masters degrees in Public Policy and Jurisprudence & Social Policy from UC Berkeley. She also has 10 years of admissions coaching experience.
As a former PhD student who pivoted away from academia after nearly a decade of postsecondary coursework to pursue other professional goals, Rachel knows firsthand what it’s like to be at a juncture in your academic path — and how to make the leap from where you are into who you are becoming.
